Download Wheespr from the App Store or Google Play, then sign in with your Apple or Google account. Choose a username (handle) and you're ready to go — no phone number or email required.
Tap "Invite" in the app to generate a unique code or QR code. Share it with the person you want to talk to — they tap "Join" and enter your code or scan the QR. That's it, the conversation begins.
Yes — both parties need the Wheespr app installed and an account to join a conversation.
Privacy & security
Very little. We collect the email address provided by Apple or Google when you sign in, your chosen username, and a push notification token if you enable notifications. We never collect your phone number, real name, or contacts. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
No. Photos and voice messages shared in Wheespr cannot be saved directly to the recipient's camera roll or device storage. They are only accessible within the app for the duration of the conversation.
All messages, photos, and voice messages are automatically and permanently deleted — from our servers and from your device cache. Free plan conversations expire after 7 days. Wheespr Plus conversations expire after 30 days. This cannot be undone.
Yes. Active conversations are cached locally on your device so you can read them even without a network connection. The cache is cleared automatically when the conversation expires.
Wheespr Plus
Wheespr Plus is our premium subscription. It includes unlimited invitations, 30-day conversations, permanent invite codes (with naming, modification, and deletion), and Ghost Mode — which hides your read receipts unless you reply.
A permanent invite code is a reusable code or QR code that stays active until you modify or delete it. Unlike single-use codes, it can be shared with as many people as you like — perfect for creators who want to connect with their audience in one place.
When Ghost Mode is enabled, the other person cannot see that you have read their message — unless you reply. It gives you full control over when your presence is known.
You can cancel anytime through your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Your Plus features remain active until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods, in accordance with Apple's and Google's refund policies.
Account & data
You can delete your account directly from the app settings. This will permanently remove your account, username, and all active conversations. This action cannot be undone.
Email us at hello@wheespr.app with the subject "Data request" and we will respond within 30 days with the personal data we hold about you.
⚠️ Report abuse or harmful content
If you have experienced harassment, received illegal content, or want to report a user for harmful behaviour, please contact us immediately at abuse@wheespr.app. We review all reports within 48 hours.
Reports involving child safety will be escalated to the relevant authorities without delay.
